The Fool is the first card in the Tarot, and it symbolizes new beginnings, a carefree attitude and sheer innocence. You trust in the beneficence of the Universe, and you follow your instincts.

You are paving the way for a new journey or a new path in your life. However, when the card is reversed, it asks you to weigh the pros and cons of this choice you're making.

The time for independent action may not be right. You must discriminate between your personal fantasies and reality. The advice given to writers or artists may apply here: "Don't quit your day job." This is not to say that what you want to do is invalid, only that you must be careful before you take the plunge.

Affirmation for today: "I listen to my instincts and I follow my inner voice. I am strong enough to make the right choices today."
