Everything happens for a reason

Sometimes, life can feel confusing, as if nothing works in our favour. Other times, it can feel like everything is working in our favour, but we feel scared it won't last long. How do we maintain this balance? The Wheel of Fortune teaches us that karmically, we reap what we sow. The wheel spins both high and low, and it is our destiny that governs where the spinning wheel will halt. Can we alter our destiny? Yes, by practicing good karma. But can we avoid the bad times? Not really. We have to go through the fire to purify ourselves until our soul is cleaner and lighter. Sometimes, the easy way out is not the right choice, even though it seems tantalizing to pick. We must work hard to navigate the destined path our karma has brought us down. For it is only when we are ready to surrender and accept our fate that the wheel changes direction to turn in our favour. Affirmation for today: "I believe everything happens for a reason.
