The 2 of Pentacles shows a man juggling two coins in the circle of infinity. This represents the daily stresses of modern living that are ongoing 24/7. There's always something that requires our attention or we are always busy with work.
Despite all this precarious balancing, we still have to ensure the ups and downs of life don't bother us. Isn't that too much to ask for from one person?
The man on the card has the option to put his coins down and take a break from the constant juggling of thoughts, opinions, ideas, etc. However, it's the aspect of wanting to control the outcome and not wanting to trust others that stop the juggler from doing so.
Today, find a few minutes to become still. Be mindful of your breath and the sensation of your breath. And then close your eyes to open your mind.
