What will you do if a plane crashes into your building?

This morning, I had a dream. I was standing on the balcony of a high-rise building, and I was on the phone talking to someone. Suddenly, I saw an airplane flying way too close to the building, and as I watched it, the plane started descending. One of its engines had caught fire, and before I knew what was happening, the plane crashed into the building I was in!

The tremor of the crash reverberated up till the 42nd floor, which is where I was standing. I was unscathed, but my feet felt the warmth of the fire that was now consuming the lower half of the building. I tried to see the damage from where I stood, but all I could feel was panic.

With that image in my mind, I awoke with a jolt.

As I tried to interpret the dream, I decided to consult the Tarot. The Tower card popped up. I was shocked to see the similarities between the card and my dream.

The card depicts a Tower that is struck by lightning, and it catches fire. As that happens, the Tower's inhabitants jump from windows in order to save themselves, but they don't realize they will fall onto jagged rocks on which the Tower is constructed.

The message of this card is that when an accident like this happens, we have to learn to surrender and accept what is.

As for my dream, it is a reminder that I cannot control what happens in my environment. I cannot control the actions of people around me, but I can control my own emotions and be responsible for my own safety.

Affirmation for today:

"I accept whatever fate is meant for me." Liked this post? Please share and subscribe to our mailing list to ensure you don't miss a blog post!
